Pregnant woman shot dead in DeKalb

LITHONIA - DeKalb County police say a pregnant woman was killed and her husband was injured when shots were fired outside a DeKalb County apartment complex.

Hornyhead Fish Head Festival winners

Touting their horns: The results are in for the Hornyhead Fish Head Festival, which was held Saturday in Newborn. (L-r) Youth Winner: Eli Galloway - 8 inches long with 8 horns. Adult Winner: Tom Krieger - 6 inches long with 11 horns. Children's Winner: Malcom Whitaker - 7 1/8 inches long with 9 horns. The festival also included a parade, a flea market and other arts and crafts booths. The fish were fried, and according to residents, taste like trout.
