Elijah Jaymane Wilson (Jay-Man) celebrated his first birthday March 21. He is the son of Ryan Wilson and Antranique Usher. His grandparents are Bobby and Maggie Clark, Evelyn J. Wilson and Randy and Tracy Usher. Great-grandparents are Frederick and Carrie Mae Usher, Annette McDowell, Lillie Ruth Clark, Edward and Dorothy Cody Sr. and the late Alex Williams.

Francis Malone Pratt celebrated her 100th birthday June 28.

Francis Pratt, wife of Moncey Pratt, has been a Newton County resident since she moved here from Macon in 1932.

Moncey and Francis Pratt raised Richard Hill Pratt as their own since he was 2 years old.

When Francis Pratt was 30, she started the original Women’s Club in Newton County, and was also a charter member of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and a devoted service guild member.

She had three sisters, all of them in Macon. Francis Pratt spent her 100th birthday surrounded by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
