Kimberly Blair Malcom and James Timothy Walden, Jr. were married on June 6, 2015 at the chapel on the campus of Oxford College of Emory University. Rev. Tim Walden, father of the groom, officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kent and Allison Haralson of Oxford and Scott and Jamie Malcom of Shady Dale. She is the granddaughter of Elsie Blair and the late Gene Blair, Sandra Norred and the late Arthur Norred, Gerald and Catherine Malcom, and the late Spearman and Grace Haralson. The bride is a special education teacher at South Salem Elementary.

The groom is the son of Rev. Timothy and Angie Walden, He is the grandson of Jane Scoggins and the late Bil Scoggins, Ron and Ann Dodd and Larry and Janet Walden. The groom is employed by the Newton County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy in the court division.

Given in marriage by her father and stepfather, the bride wore a halter style A-line wedding gown with intricate beading and a beautiful train. She carried a bouquet of white peony roses with wisteria accents.

Kelli Rebholz, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Vicki Jackson, Kaitlin Kinney and Jessica Bowles. They wore tea-length wisteria-colored dresses. Blair Rebholz, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
The groom chose his grandfather, Ron Dodd, as his best man. The groomsmen were Will Walden, Ryan Mason and Christopher Bowles. Judd Rebholz, nephew of the bride was the ring bearer. Russell Rebholz and John Stowe served as ushers.

Tracy Stowe served as pianist. The groom played his ukulele as he sang “Beautiful as You” by All-4-One. The bride’s special education class also sang, “When I hold your hand” to the bride and groom. Donna Gregg directed the ceremony.

Following the wedding ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception in Candler Hall on the Oxford College campus.

Tables were attired with wisteria and white tablecloths and a shabby chic décor. Music provided by Anita and Larry Denny. A photo booth was set up for guests to take memorable keepsakes. Also, a bucket list was provided for guests to suggest exciting journeys for the newly married couple.

After enjoying a relaxing honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas and St. Augustine, Florida, the happy couple now resides in Oxford.

Jessica Brooke Hinton and Jason Scott Vincent were married in a twilight ceremony September 26, 2015, on the patio at The Lake House in historic Avondale Estates. The Reverend Dr. William B. Wade officiated at the double ring ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Harry and Tricia Hinton of Walnut Grove. She is the granddaughter of the late Newt and Edna Hinton of Covington and the late Henry and Mary Lott of Decatur.
