Mr. and Mrs. Kent Haralson of Oxford and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Malcom of Shadydale announce the engagement of Kimberly Blair Malcom to James Timothy Walden Jr.
Walden is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Tim Walden of Covington. Kimberly Malcom is a 2001 graduate of Newton High School, and she received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Emory and a teaching degree from the University of Georgia. She is currently employed as a special education teacher for the Newton County School System.
James Walden Jr. is a 2005 graduate of Eastside High School and is currently employed as a deputy of the Newton County Sheriff’s Department in the court division.
The wedding will be at the Oxford College Chapel on Saturday, June 6, 2015.
