PORTERDALE, Ga – Newton Trails held the third of four April walks along Newton County’s trails Wednesday hosting a “Walk With a Cop” trail walk along the Yellow River Trail in Porterdale.

Police Chief Jason Cripps welcomed the 40 or so walkers and offered trail walking and biking safety tips including don’t walk alone, wear bright colors, bring your cellphone and never hesitate to call 911 if you have any concerns.
