For Melissa Thompson, family and faith have been driving forces keeping her positive during her fourth cancer diagnosis and her time with stage four metastatic breast cancer. In April of 2021 after going in for her routine mammogram with no signs or symptoms, Thompson was diagnosed with breast cancer after a tumor was discovered on her breast.“I was scared to death,” Thompson said. “That is life changing.”
