Little Rabbit Bake Shop officially opens its doors

The Little Rabbit Bake Shop officially opened its doors last week as the new shop hopes to provide “a pinch of history, a dash of dreams.”

The shop was opened by Paige and Sean Wood on Tuesday, Sept. 24 and is located at 1188 Clark St in Downtown Covington.

Prior to opening the doors of its own location, Little Rabbit Bake Shop made frequent visits to the weekly Covington Farmers Market and at Lily & Sparrow. In July, the shop announced that it was nominated by Best of Georgia in the food and drink category.

Along with doing custom orders, the store has specialty items such as macaron cakes, cake sandwiches, sourdough cookies, brownies, cupcakes and giant macarons.

Customers have the opportunity to order online and choose from an option of pick-up or delivery.

“At Little Rabbit, we believe in the power of a good snack. But not just any snack – a transcendental, how-did-I-ever-live-without-this kind of treat,” the store’s website read. “It’s why we obsess over the perfect crunch of our macarons, the moistness of our cakes, and the boldness of our flavors. We’re here to bake your day.”
