Annie, an emotional support dog for the 911 Center, was honored by the Covington Police Department (CPD) on Dog Therapy Appreciation Day.

Dog Therapy Appreciation Day lands on April 11, and it gives emotional support dog a chance to be recognized for the care they give, as well as gives recognition to the handlers/trainers who take care of them.

“Annie is an emotional support dog for our 911 Center, but she gives support to all departments,” the CPD wrote on Facebook.

Annie reportedly loves pets, going on walks, napping and marrow bone dog treats. She was born on Christmas Eve in 2019 and loves her co-workers.
