Keep Newton Beautiful celebrates successful Shred Day

Keep Newton Beautiful kicked off the day on Nov. 18 with a paper shredding event, giving residents the chance to securely dispose of sensitive documents.  The event was held from 9:00- 11:30 a.m. at the Covington Library (7116 Floyd St. NE, Covington). Thank you to A Cut Above Shredding for assisting the community and promoting sustainability by recycling the paper waste

Over 400 volunteers banded together last weekend to work towards cleanliness, beautification and quality of life right at home in Newton County.
