Newton County celebrated its newly renovated softball and baseball fields at Turner Lake and City Pond parks on Oct. 15. Thanks to supporters of the 2023 SPLOST, the turf fields will provide a safer environment for the County’s young athletes and allow quicker turnaround in wet conditions. Newly installed LED lights will also provide a better experience during games.
