COVINGTON, Ga. – Two of the juveniles arrested for an armed robbery last month at Newton High School were granted bond Tuesday in Newton County Superior Court. A third juvenile was denied bond.
According to court documents, the teens are charged with armed robbery, carrying a weapon within a school safety zone and unlawful for person with criminal street gang position to engage/consider criminal street gang.
The juveniles are accused of robbing a student at gunpoint in a restroom at the school in May. Their names are being withheld because of their ages.
