UPDATE: Yellow River body identified
Update

COVINGTON, Ga. - Newton County Coroner Tommy Davis confirmed the identity of the female body found in the Yellow River last weekend has been identified as 23-year-old Shanequa Quanee Sullivan, of Atlanta. 

Davis said Sullivan had been reported missing out of Atlanta.

The cause, manner and circumstances of her death are still under investigation by the Newton County Coroner's Office and Newton County Sheriff's Office. 

Davis told The Covington News that Sullivan's entire body was recovered and he was unable to release how the identification was determined. 

When asked if Sullivan had any Newton County ties, Davis said he could not release that information at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
