COVINGTON, Ga. - The Newton Campus of Georgia Piedmont Technical College hosted an Advanced Manufacturing Expo Thursday morning to share information about its new Advanced Manufacturing Center on Alcovy Road.
Bryan Sexton, electrical and computer engineering technology program director for GPTC, said the intent of the expo was to spread the word about the programs offered at the center. He said students enrolled in these programs could have a direct link to several manufacturing jobs locally and throughout the state.
