Newton County Fire Services responded to a fire at a mobile home structure Friday afternoon off Roseberry Road in Covington that became heavily involved. 

Fire personnel made an exterior attack but were hampered by "a large volume of content in the structure," county spokesman Brian Fazio said.

Fire units continued to hit hot spots on the structure around 4:30 p.m. 

No injuries were reported by the homeowner or Newton Fire, Fazio said.
