Woman set on fire at Cobb gas station

KENNESAW, Ga. - Police in Kennesaw say a woman was burned when a man set fire to her and her car at a gas station and convenience store.

Officials say the woman pulled up to a gas pump at the BP station on Barrett Parkway at I-75 about 2 a.m. Wednesday when a man who had followed her into the station set the fire. They say she's hospitalized with serious burns.

Police have not released the victim's name. They also have not released information on the suspect and what relationship he might have had with the victim.
