Ramona Alice Grissom of Shady Dale, passed away August 3, 2010, at the age of 79. Mrs. Grissom was very active in Westminster, South Carolina, politics - becoming the first woman elected to serve on the town council; and was appointed to the State Reorganization Committee by the governor of South Carolina. She was very active in community service, and was a founding member of the Oconee Aid Society in South Carolina.
