SEA ISLAND, Ga. - Normally, the surf can be heard faintly throughout our family's house on the coast of Georgia.This morning, the volume seems to have increased a few decibels. As I look east, toward the sunrise, the ocean appears to be closer to the house than normal. This higher-than-normal tide reminds me of a conversation I overheard the day before.My husband, son and I had decided to brave the overcast and rainy morning and joined a boat tour of the marsh surrounding St. Simons Island.
