Dear Editor: In the "Our Thoughts" section of Sunday’s paper it stated "the news media took great delight in showing the Palin effigy, but they did not demand this disgrace be taken down." You are right — the one I was watching did not demand it be taken down, but they did express disgust and said that it had no place in a campaign. One could not characterize their reaction as delight by any stretch.
