A structure fire on Kingston Road in Conyers forced a family to find shelter Tuesday night.
Firefighters were dispatched after a call from neighbors who saw smoke around 5:30 p.m., according to Rockdale County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Sharon Webb.
None of the residents were home at the time but they were at a nearby neighbor's house, according to Webb.
Five engines and one rescue truck responded to the scene. No firefighters or residents were reported injured.
The home was considered a total loss, said Webb, and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
The family was able to find a place to stay for the night and Red Cross was not called.
