In last week’s issue, we had a chance to honor some folks who through their efforts have made a difference in our community. Every one of the folks profiled has shown that they care about the future and welfare of our county.

We are proud of each of them. We need more young leaders to follow their example and to step up to the plate and hit a big home run as our honorees have done.
