Scot Ward Funeral Services will soon be moving into its new digs as it completes construction on a new funeral home and mausoleum at the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens off of Ga. Highway 138. The business expects to finish construction on the $3 million project by March 3. The airy new funeral home, chapel and reception area boasts 15,000 square feet of air conditioned space, seating for 100 in the chapel and room for another 100 for viewing through video feed in overflow rooms, said owner Scot Ward.
