After strong showings at the regional duals, the Social Circle Redskins and Eastside Eagles carried the momentum into their respective state meets as both teams placed. The Redskins once again claimed the Class A-Division I trophy while the Eagles ended the meet in sixth place.

The Redskins wrapped up a dominant sweep over McNair on Friday in a three game series that saw the Social Circle outscore the Mustangs 65-0.It was quite the display of both pitching and hitting, and it all started on Tuesday.Tuesday’s game was the first of the series and it proved to be the most lopsided.A 31-0 victory for Social Circle in just 3.5 innings.
